HJG-S Large-Lead Ball Screw
Type FDL in the HJG-S catalog is the large-lead ball screw, for rapid travel with lower driving power. It uses the same family accuracy: ground C3 and C5, or rolled C7, within the 8–100 mm diameter range, to DIN 69051. Lead and diameter pairs are in the FDL specification table.
When the nominal diameter is 16 mm or less, the catalog calls the screw type V, the micro ball screw, symbols FV and FNYN. That is a separate construction from the large-lead FDL, for compact mechanisms. Both are HJG-S. V300p remains 12 µm for grade 3 and 23 µm for grade 5 on ground screws. Efficiency of the family is 90–95%.
