The 100MD60Y7.5 is a powerful internal grinding spindle designed for medium to large bore grinding applications requiring both high speed and substantial power. Operating at speeds up to 60,000 r/min with a robust 7.5 kW high-frequency asynchronous motor, this spindle delivers the wheel surface speeds and material removal capability needed for efficient internal grinding of bearing housings, hydraulic cylinders, gear bores, and other precision internal features.
P4 precision angular contact ball bearings provide the rigidity and accuracy necessary for consistent sub-micron runout at the grinding pin interface. An efficient water-jacket cooling system manages the thermal loads generated during sustained operation, maintaining geometric stability and preventing thermal drift. The 100mm housing diameter provides good stiffness while allowing access to bores typically 20mm and larger. Weighing approximately 22 kg, the 100MD60Y7.5 is designed for integration into CNC internal grinding machines, universal grinding machines with internal grinding attachments, and specialized bore grinding equipment.
