The 100MD90Y2.5 is an ultra-high-speed internal grinding spindle designed for precision bore grinding, internal profile grinding, and small-diameter internal machining operations. Operating at speeds up to 90,000 r/min with 2.5 kW of power from a high-frequency asynchronous motor, this spindle achieves the elevated wheel surface speeds necessary for effective grinding with small-diameter mounted wheels and points.
Silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic hybrid ball bearings in P4 precision grade minimize centrifugal loads and heat generation at extreme rotational speeds, significantly extending bearing service life compared to all-steel bearing configurations. An advanced dual cooling system combines a water jacket for the motor stator with oil-air micro-lubrication for the bearings, ensuring stable thermal conditions during continuous high-speed operation. The compact 100mm housing diameter allows access to small bores and internal features. With runout accuracy within 1 micron and weighing only 18 kg, the 100MD90Y2.5 is ideal for high-precision internal grinding machines producing bearing rings, fuel injection components, hydraulic valve bodies, and other small precision parts.
