The CS Series crossed roller linear guideway represents the pinnacle of rigidity in compact linear motion. By arranging cylindrical rollers in a crossed (90-degree alternating) pattern between precision-ground V-groove raceways, the CS design provides the highest stiffness-to-volume ratio of any guideway technology. Each roller contacts the raceway along its full length, distributing loads across line contact for unparalleled rigidity.

Unlike recirculating designs, CS guideways operate with a limited stroke caged roller arrangement where the roller cage advances at half the speed of the moving element.
