LGS Series Ball Linear Guideway
The LGS Series is Luoyang Songju's premier ball-type linear guideway, engineered as the industry workhorse for a broad spectrum of linear motion applications. Featuring four rows of precision recirculating steel balls in a 45-degree contact angle arrangement, the LGS design provides equal load capacity in all four primary directions -- radial, reverse radial, and both lateral orientations. This balanced loading characteristic simplifies machine design by eliminating the need for separate guidance elements, reducing overall system complexity and cost.
Manufactured from high-carbon bearing steel (Gcr15/S55C) with induction-hardened raceways achieving 58-62 HRC, LGS guideways deliver exceptional wear resistance over millions of travel cycles. Interchangeable carriages and rails -- precision-ground to exacting geometric tolerances -- enable individual component replacement without re-machining mounting surfaces. Double-lip end seals with internal longitudinal seals protect ball circuits from contamination, while integrated grease nipples with optional self-lubricator extend service intervals. Available in three preload classes (light, medium, heavy) and three precision grades (P, H, SP), the LGS Series adapts to requirements ranging from general material handling to high-accuracy measurement systems.
