The separable ring design — where the ribbed ring and roller assembly can be separated from the smooth ring — facilitates independent mounting of each bearing component. This is particularly advantageous in blind housing applications or where press-fit conditions require sequential mounting of the inner ring onto the shaft and the outer ring into the housing.
Standard models are manufactured from GCr15 bearing steel in P5, P4, and P2 precision grades. The N10/NU10 dimensional series features a thin cross-section for space-constrained spindle designs, while N2/NU2 and N3/NU3 series provide progressively heavier cross-sections for higher load requirements. Available with machined brass cages (M suffix), pressed steel cages (standard), or high-speed resin cages for elevated speed applications.
