Luoyang Songju RB series is the standard crossed roller bearing type, featuring a one-piece inner ring and a two-piece (separable) outer ring secured by specialized bolts or rivets during transport. This classic design has been the trusted choice for machine tool rotary axes and precision indexing mechanisms for decades.
The full complement roller design — with no cage or separator between rollers — maximizes the number of load-carrying rollers within the bearing cross-section. This delivers the highest possible load capacity for a given envelope size, making RB bearings ideal for heavy-duty machine tool applications with significant cutting forces and overturning moments.
The separable outer ring enables fine adjustment of internal clearance or application of preload during installation — a critical advantage for achieving zero-backlash operation in precision positioning systems. Available in P5, P4, and P2 precision grades from GCr15 bearing steel. Open type (standard) and sealed type (suffix UU) configurations cover bore sizes from 30mm to 800mm.
