Crossed Roller Bearings Optimized for Outer Ring Rotation Applications

Luoyang Songju RE series crossed roller bearings feature an integral one-piece outer ring and a two-piece (split) inner ring — the structural inverse of the RB series. This design provides the most stable, accurate reference surface on the outer ring, making RE bearings the optimal choice when outer ring rotational accuracy is the primary requirement.

The RE series shares the same overall mounting dimensions (bore × OD × width) as the RB series, enabling direct substitution in existing designs. The key difference is which ring is split: RB splits the outer ring (for inner ring rotation accuracy), RE splits the inner ring (for outer ring rotation accuracy). This interchangeability gives designers flexibility without changing housing or shaft dimensions.

Standard RE bearings feature four grease lubrication holes in the outer ring for convenient relubrication access. Available in P5, P4, and P2 precision grades from GCr15 bearing steel. Open type (standard) and sealed type (suffix UU, single or double seal) configurations. The full complement design maximizes load capacity for demanding applications.
